+ (1) FIRST, THAT WE HAVE GRANTED TO GOD, and by this present charter have confirmed for us and our heirs in perpetuity, that the English Church shall be free, and shall have its rights undiminished, and its liberties unimpaired. That we wish this so to be observed, appears from the fact that of our own free will, before the outbreak of the present dispute between us and our barons, we granted and confirmed by charter the freedom of the Church’s elections – a right reckoned to be of the greatest necessity and importance to it – and caused this to be confirmed by Pope Innocent III. This freedom we shall observe ourselves, and desire to be observed in good faith by our heirs in perpetuity. TO ALL FREE MEN OF OUR KINGDOM we have also granted, for us and our heirs for ever, all the liberties written out below, to have and to keep for them and their heirs, of us and our heirs:

Chint  


O Chintz era originariamente um tecido estampado produzido na Índia desde épocas muito recuadas; os portugueses começaram a importar Chintz da Índia, c. 1518, para as reexportar para a costa africana e para o Brasil.


Entre 1600 e 1800 o Chint (importado sobretudo do porto de Maçulipatão (Macchilapattanam), na costa oriental da Península hindustânica, tornou-se bastante popular na Europa como roupa de cama e para patchwork.



Por volta de 1600, os mercadores holandeses começaram a levar quantidades apreciáveis de Chintz para a Europa.

Het huidige kasteel is een neo-gotisch waterslot dat gebouwd werd rond 1885.

De buitengevel vertoont een robuust uiterlijk met een ophaalbrug, een Donjon, kantelen en schietgaten.


De gevelsteen is Gobertange zandsteen die afkomstig is van de afbraak van de stadsomwalling van Vilvoorde.



De geschiedenis van Kasteeldomein Zellaer gaat wellicht minstens terug tot de 13e eeuw.

Für das heutige Unternehmen Max Zeller Söhne AG. Maximilian Georg Zeller trat kurze Zeit später ins Geschäft ein. Max Zellers Vorliebe galt dem Entwickeln von pflanzlichen Arzneimitteln. Durch zahlreiche Versuche gelang es ihm, den «Wunderbalsam» – heute zeller balsam – zu entwickeln.

Bis heute ist der berühmte zeller balsam gegen Darmbeschwerden in unveränderter Zusammensetzung erhältlich.
